StoryCenter Educator's Retreat
Reception: Friday, June 6, 6 pm - 8 pm
Working Sessions: Saturday, June 7, 10 am - 6 pm
Sunday, June 8, 2025, 9 am - 2 pm
Ghost Ranch Retreat Center, Abiquiu, New Mexico
In the past StoryCenter has hosted retreats for our larger community to focus specifically on the issues of practice in the educational context. These retreats allow us to dig a bit more deeply into the ways are methods and principles are applied in classroom, public health education, education related to community organizing, or other contexts.
This year we are all aware that as progressive educators many of our programs are under assault, and so we will focus on the "Urgent Times" aspect of our work. Many of us know that in person gatherings are ways to re-inspire, re-focus, and strategize around the ways forward for our careers, our efforts, our communities.
All those who register will assist in the preparation of the agenda, help present, and organize
Location
The retreat will be held at the beautiful Ghost Ranch Retreat Center in Abiquiu, New Mexico some 40 minutes north of Santa Fe.
