StoryCenter’s mission to build a just and healthy world means we want to make spaces for everyone to share their stories, particularly people whose voices are often marginalized or excluded.
Our scholarships are specifically for people of color, transgender and gender nonconforming people, people from low income and working class backgrounds, people with disabilities, lesbian, gay, or bisexual people, immigrants and refugees, and members of other marginalized groups.
They are awarded only to cover tuition costs for a three-day in person Digital Storytelling Workshop in either our Berkeley or Denver locations.
Please note that scholarships are limited. We will notify you of your scholarship status as soon as we have made our selections. You may apply the scholarship to any of the public workshops in which the goal is to create a story. You may not use the scholarship for workshops focused on facilitator training or information-based webinars.
