The Right to Her Story presents women’s human rights stories created in Silence Speaks workshops held around the world. The stories explore women’s experiences of conflict and displacement, gender-based violence, discrimination, challenges in accessing reproductive health services, and other topics; the storytellers come from Belize, India, Laos, Lebanon, Mexico, Nepal, South Africa, and Uganda.
The stories are three to five minutes in length each, making them ideal for use as training tools and for awareness raising and advocacy purposes. All proceeds support further Silence Speaks partnerships with human rights organizations around the world.
Content Advisory: Stories on this DVD address topics of gender-based violence, sexual abuse, and war and conflict.
