This is the original 3-day digital storytelling production workshop. You will learn about StoryCenter’s short-form video production workshop process, engage with a community of storytellers and create a two to four minute video based on a personal story. StoryCenter’s experienced facilitators will support you for the duration of the workshop. Come to where the digital storytelling movement began, and experience the transformative power of digital storytelling!

Introduction to the Seven Steps of Digital Storytelling
Group sharing and feedback in a facilitated Story Circle
Script writing and voice recording
Image preparation and storyboarding
Video editing: transitions, effects, music, and titles
Support on the production of a two to four minute digital story
Group story screening
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in exploring StoryCenter’s participatory media methodology or in simply making a story from their own life. You will engage in a creative group process, enjoy support for crafting a script, and learn to produce a simple, short video. We recommend participation if your organization is inviting StoryCenter to facilitate a custom workshop.
