After 20 years of teaching the face to face version of our Digital Storytelling Workshop, the advent of cloud-based editing makes a fully online version of our well-tested curriculum possible. Over the course of six weeks, guided by experienced StoryCenter facilitators, you will craft and produce a two to four minute digital story based on a 300-word narration script.

This workshop requires attendance at six online sessions on consecutive Tuesdays from January 7th, 2025 - February 11th, 2025. Each session is two hours and begins at 10am Pacific Time/ 1pm Eastern Time.

Workshop closes when registration is at capacity.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

This workshop is designed for anyone who is interested in exploring a story from their own life, participating in a creative group process, and learning to produce a simple, short video. It is a pre-requisite for all of StoryCenter’s more advanced workshops and trainings.

SPECIAL NOTES

To participate, you will need a computer (Mac or PC) with an updated web browser. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. Before the workshop starts, we will send you instructions about how to prepare and how to access WeVideo, the cloud-based editing application we’ll be using.
